This modulated output is referred to as a ‘transistor current source’.The photovoltaic output of the ILD66-2 consists of two outputs; one positive and one negative. The positive output is connected to the collector terminal of the transistor, while the negative output is connected to the emitter terminal of the transistor. The collector and emitter terminals are separated from each other by a series of isolators.The ILD66-2 is a high voltage isolation device which provides high levels of protection for electrical circuits. The device is suitable for applications like power supplies, data and signal processing, industrial controllers and telecommunication systems.
