IR3087M is a synchronous buck regulator for point-of-load (POL) non-isolated applications. It is targeted at becoming the industry-standard for designs requiring the lowest bill of material (BOM) count, highest power density, lowest losses and smallest form factor. This high performance device is able to maintain a power supply having a nominal output voltage tolerance of +/-0.4% over temperature without coil or capacitor selection. Its wide input voltage range (6V-38V) and efficient operation (up to 95%) make it a suitable choice for diverse range of applications where small size and weight are important.

IR3087M is mainly used in communication and networking, computing and storage, industrial, automotive and aerospace applications. Some typical applications include point-of-load (POL) buck voltage converter, 12V-19V input DC/DC converter, intermediate bus converter and voltage regulator, server and storage power, computing system power, on-board DC/DC power and IPMs.
