IR3092MPBF is a Power Supply Controllers, Monitors (PMIC) popularly used for various applications. It is available in three power packages; a 3x3mm2QFN, 4x4mm2TQFN and SOIC-8 packages. It is a synchronized buck controller with a high-side MOSFET switch and a low-side MOSFET switch, plus a high-efficiency low-noise peak-current-mode control loop. Unlike traditional PWM ICs, this IC has digital control and protection features that make it a great component for designing high power and high density power supplies.

IR3092MPBF is integrated with several important functionalities. It includes a single-ended primary inductance converter (LLC) controller, a synchronous buck controller, a compaction current-mode control (CCM) loop, two digital comparators and a dual-channel temperature amplifier. It also incorporates a wide operating range with a maximum supply of 6 to 480V, while offering adjustable switching frequency up to 1.2MHz. The working principle of the IR3092MPBF is based on the peak current-mode control with a synchronous buck controller. The output voltage is also managed by the synchronization between the high-side and low-side MOSFETs.
