Working Principle

The IS25LP128-JBLE is an electrically-erasable, programmable nonvolatile memory device that can be accessed sequentially. The chip is organized as 131,072 words (1024K-byte) array with each word comprised of 8 bits. IS25LP128-JBLE is accessed via the industry-standard SPI protocol. It contains a separate power-on reset circuit and hardware write-protect circuitry.

IS25LP128-JBLE provides an extended programming range with up to 8 bits per word. Sequences of Write Enable (WREN), erase (sector, block, or entire chip), program, read, write status register, and reset can be used to program the chip with data. The Program Suspend/Resume features further reduces programming time.

IS25LP128-JBLE is also low power device, reducing the operating current by up to 66 percent compared to existing technologies. It provides excellent power efficiencies:3.3V VCC, 25mA active read current, 6mA active write current, 0.4mA standby current and 1µA deep-power-down current. IS25LP128-JBLE also supports an advanced Error Correction Code (ECC) from a single bit up to 16 individual bits.
