The IS42S32160D-7BL-TR is a synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) device typically used in embedded applications, such as single board computers, notebooks and industrial computers. The read cycle is used to move data from the memory array to the Input/Output (I/O) pins, while the write cycle is used to store data from the I/O pins to the memory array. The precharge cycle is used to refresh the memory array prior to the read or write cycle.
The IS42S32160D-7BL-TR also implements an auto-refresh cycle which is used to periodically refresh the memory array in order to maintain the stored data. The auto-refresh cycle is triggered at predefined intervals determined by the external clock (ECLK) signal.
