ISL5123IBZ-T is an Analog Switch, Multiplexer, Demultiplexer which is defined as a 5 channel analog switch fabricated with low on-resistance CMOS technology and integrated with a CMOS compatible control circuit. This analog switch is voltage controlled, enables easy operation and low power operation in a silicon surface mount package. This product is ultra-small and applicable for low voltage and high voltage operations.The ISL5123IBZ-T has 5 channels which allow single rail signals to be switched and converted to a variety of different electrical input signals. The analog switch is designed with a low-breakdown voltage and an ultra-low on-resistance for optimal signal handling performance. The switch is immune to latch-up, meaning it does not lock up the circuit and continues to operate until the signal is changed.The ISL5123IBZ-T has a built in digital input and output latches, allowing the status of the signal signal path to be monitored and changed without interrupting a signal path. This switch also features signal “glitches” which occur due to on-board signal paths being opened and closed and switch contacts bouncing. The on-board signal path of the ISL5123IBZ-T reduces these “glitches”, which allows the switch to operate more reliably in varying conditions.The ISL5123IBZ-T switch is powered by a single supply power rail, allowing it to operate over a wide variety of applications. This switch has a wide transition time from low-side to high-side, allowing it to remain stable during critical transition periods. The analog switch also includes an over voltage protection circuit, allowing it to withstand hazardous voltage spikes found in analog switching environments.The ISL5123IBZ-T is an ideal interface for a variety of applications. This analog switch can be used in high performance audio systems, medical devices, telecommunications systems, automotive infotainment systems, industrial controllers and more.In addition to being used for a variety of interface applications, this analog switch can also be used as a multiplexer, demultiplexer or voltage scrambler. This allows the device to switch between different signal inputs and output channels, as well as scramble analog signals for encoder applications.The ISL5123IBZ-T switch is reliable, efficient and capable of switching single rail signals to provide an improved user experience in electronic applications.
