Working Principle

The ISL54062IRUZ-T consists of two independently controlled channels, each consisting of two CMOS transistors. The structure is an N-channel metal- oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (NMOSFET) consisting of two parts: a bipolar transistor and a MOSFET.

Each transistor has a source, drain and gate, which is initially “open”. When a voltage is applied to the gate, the transistor is “closed”, allowing current to flow from the source to the drain. This process is repeated for each channel, allowing a variety of switches to be formed.
