The power path manager will automatically switch the charging path between the input power and battery depending on the state of charge.The ISL6292-2CR4Z-T includes several protection features to ensure the safe charging of the battery such as overvoltage protection, thermal regulation, reverse battery protection, and automatic cell balancing. All these protections diminish the risk of overheating and overcharge, therefore keeping the battery in safe and optimal conditions while charging.The product can be used as a system battery charging solution with a wide operating temperature range. It also has low power consumption and can charge to full capacity in 4 hours or less.
