The ISL6525CBZ is a voltage regulator designed for DC-DC Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) applications, such as the control of devices that require high-quality, low-ripple power. The ISL6525CBZ is also capable of providing PWM or Pulse Width Modulated output voltage. The IC features an internal oscillator for fixed frequency and variable frequency operation, allowing for the adjustment of the switching frequency up to 1.2MHz. The device provides a range of protection features, such as input over voltage protection, output over voltage protection and over current protection, as well as Thermal Shutdown protection.
