ISL80015FRZ-T contains many features such as current and voltage sensing, an adaptive on-time control loop, a low ripple Burst Mode operation and programmable thermal shutdown. It is capable of delivering up to 15 A of continuous output current from a 4.5 V to 60 V input voltage range. It uses Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) for regulation, allowing it to maintain a precise output voltage within small deviations, no matter the operating temperature or input voltage.The output voltage is adjustable either through a voltage divider or PWM techniques and the PWM frequency can be set from 200 kHz to 600 kHz to reduce EMI and reduce switching losses. It also has an over-current and over-temperature protection circuits and accurate current and voltage monitoring.When the input voltage varies, the ISL80015FRZ-T uses a combination of a voltage divider and PWM techniques to adjust the duty cycle and provides an output voltage in line with the reference voltage. The duty cycle of the PWM regulates the amount of current flowing through the inductor and is increased or decreased based on the difference between the output voltage and reference voltage to ensure constant voltage at the output.Conclusion
