The ISL8117DEMO3Z is a fully integrated, off-line, bi- directional, CAN transceiver Evaluation board for low voltage, high-current switching power supplies. The board features an ISL8117DEMO3Z chip which is an integrated, high efficiency, switch-mode power supply controller. The ISL8117DEMO3Z is optimized for a vast array of offline AC and DC power supply applications. It is designed to be UL/cUL, TUV and CE compliant.

The ISL8117DEMO3Z Evaluation Board provides control and isolation of the Ac Mains providing safe, continuous operation. It is capable of input and output voltage sensing and monitoring. The output voltage and current waveforms are monitored and compared with the input voltage and current parameters to control the overall operation of the switching power supply.
