ISL81486IU-T are general-purpose, high-performance, low-power RS-485 transceivers and transceiver/receivers that exist in the Interface - Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers category. Designed with low-voltage operation, they are well suited for applications that are subject to EFT, ESD, and EMI. ISL81486IU-T feature an integrated ESD protection diode array to provide protection from EFT and ESD events according to IEC 61000-4-4. The devices are fully compliant with the TIA/EIA-485-A standard. SCI, SPI and PMBus communications provide a wide variety of communication options.

The ISL81486IU-T transceivers are designed as simple, low-cost components that provide reliable operation without taking up expensive board space.
