The ISL85001EVAL1Z Evaluation Board is designed as an onboard voltage converter module platform for exploring high-efficiency DC-DC or AC-DC power supply solutions. Housed in a compact 0.7 inch × 0.375 inch × 0.02 inch package, the ISL85001EVAL1Z offers maximum flexibility in design, allowing customers to quickly and easily evaluate the performance of the ISL85001 integrated power solution.The ISL85001 is a monolithic, current mode, offline, DC-DC or AC-DC switching regulator with an integrated power switch. It provides a complete power solution in a single package, enabling high performance and fast, easy use. It has high-efficiency power conversion with very low standby power loss, and is suitable for applications such as LED lighting applications or computer peripherals that require an effective power conversion solution.The operating principles of the ISL85001EVAL1Z Evaluation Board are simple. First, a voltage is supplied by an external power supply or a battery to the ISL85001\'s input pins. The IC then uses an internal oscillator, power switch, and feedback circuit to convert this input voltage to the desired output voltage. The ISL85001 also has a number of controllers and protection circuits that ensure reliable and safe operation.The ISL85001EVAL1Z Evaluation Board incorporates some of the features from the ISL85001 IC, as well as additional features for easy evaluation.
