Working Principle

The ISL85410FRZ-T7A is a synchronous DC-DC buck converter which provides the higher conversion efficiency. The device has power switch and low-side switch that are simultaneously open while in the PWM mode. The PWM frequency is inverse proportional to the output voltage. The ISL85410FRZ-T7A uses the error amplifier and PWM comparator to generate the PWM signal. The error amplifier senses the difference between the output voltage and the reference voltage and drives the PWM comparator.
