ISL97634ART26Z-T is a LED Driver in PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) family. It is specifically designed for LED lighting applications, such as LED light bars, LED lighting columns, LED spotlights, LED lamps and LED strips. The LED Driver is able to drive both DC (Direct Current) and AC (Alternating Current) LEDs. The device is suitable for a wide range of input and output voltages and supports a wide temperature range.

The ISL97634ART26Z-T includes a high-side gate driver section, a low-side gate driver section, a low-side gate-driver compensation section, and a high-side PWM dimming-controller section. The high-side gate driver section has two channels to drive two LED branches with different forward voltages. The low-side gate driver section allows the LED driver to access and control a wide range of LED current levels through low-side Gate N-Channel MOSFETs, which improves efficiency and reduces power loss. The low-side gate-driver compensation section controls the switching speed and current-sensing precision. The high-side PWM dimming-controller section features a proprietary dimming control technique, which enables dimming control with fast response time and no external components.

The device integrates multiple protection features, including over-voltage protection, over-current protection, and external over-temperature protection. It also includes an Event Link-based communication interface, which supports both I2C and SPI communication protocols for external control and monitoring. In addition, the device comes with an InRushControl algorithm that prevents inrush current and voltage dips during startup.
