The L5980 is a monolithic step-down DC/DC switching regulator DC/DC converter designed onto STMicroelectronics’s VIPower M0-7 technology. It belongs to the PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) category, and more particularly to the portfolio of Voltage Regulators, DC DC Switching Regulators. The device utilizes synchronous rectification and Adaptive Voltage Positioning (AVP) technology to achieve an extremely high efficiency, significantly reducing the total power dissipation.
