This device is compliant to the IEEE 802.3u 100BASE-TX and IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-T standards. Its PHY layer interfaces with either the ATMEL MAC or the LAN8720 enabling connection to 100 Mbs twisted pair physical media such as Category 5 UTP / STP cables and RJ45 connectors.The main features of the LAN9250T/PT device are its high performance, low power usage, and small size which helps to reduce power consumption and system costs.
