LDK320AM33R is an adjustable three-terminal linear regulator with an adjustable output voltage range of 1.2V to 32V and an input voltage range of 2V to 32V. It is used in a variety of applications, such as DC-DC converters, computer peripherals, audio/video equipment, and automotive infotainment. It is available in TO-3, SOT-223 and WDFN6 packages.
This regulator is designed to provide cost-effective power solution with less power dissipation. It employs innovative technology to achieve wide load and line regulation, providing improved performance over discrete regulator designs. LDK320AM33R is a three-terminal adjustable voltage regulator, with an output voltage ranging from 1.2V to 32V. It has an adjustable voltage reference and an output end feedback. The device is normally supplied with 5V logic logic, and is adjusted to the required output voltage by utilizing an external resistive voltage divider. An enable pin is provided to control the device. When logic low is applied to the enable pin, the device will be shutdown.
The required output current is received from the feedback terminal, passes through an internal pass-transistor, and is delivered to the load. The Open-loop voltage gain of the device is around 40dB. The input voltage is applied to the emitter terminal, while the output voltage is taken from the collector. The reference voltage is compared with the output voltage, and the difference is used to control the base current of the pass transistor.
The device has a guaranteed output accuracy of 0.5%, as well as very low output noise. It features fast transient response and average temperature coefficient of 0.02%/oC. The device also has a TTL-compatible enable input, allowing it to be connected to a wide variety of digital control systems.
