Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are considered as the most reliable and cost-effective capacitor type. They maintain their performance over a wide range of environmental parameters such as temperature, moisture and vibration. Characteristics of Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are that they have an extremely high capacitance and energy density compared to other capacitor types. The LGR2G151MELZ50 is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor available in a radial leaded package.
