1. Describe

The LM20133MHE/NOPB is a full-featured synchronous buck regulator capable of delivering up to 3A of continuous output current. Almost any type of output capacitor can compensate the current mode control loop to make it stable. In most cases, the compensation device requires only two external components. Provides maximum flexibility and ease of use. The device is optimized to operate from an input voltage range of 2.95V to 5.5V, making it suitable for a variety of low-voltage systems. The device has internal overvoltage protection (OVP) and overcurrent protection (OCP) circuits to improve system reliability. A precision enable pin and integrated UVLO allow tight control and sequencing of device turn-on. The start-up inrush current is limited by an internal fixed and an externally adjustable soft-start circuit. Integrated power good circuitry enables fault detection and power sequencing. The switching frequency of the LM20133MHE/NOPB can be synchronized with an external clock by using the SYNC pin. The SYNC pin is capable of synchronizing to input signals in the range of 500 kHz to 1.5 MHz. The LM20133MHE/NOPB is designed to work properly in multi-rail power architectures. The output voltage of the device can be configured to track a higher voltage rail using the SS/TRK pin. If the LM20133's output is pre-biased at startup, it will not sink current to pull the output low until the internal soft-start ramp exceeds the voltage on the FEEDBACK pin.
