The LM211DE4 is a member of the LM211 comparator family and it is part of the wider Linear - Comparators family. It is a dual-channel high-speed comparator designed to provide high accuracy measurements and reference when performing operations with slow or fast waveforms, including amplifying and controlling voltage across a range of applications.

The LM211DE4 comprises of two comparator outputs, one inverting and one non-inverting, and three inputs: a reference input, an input A and an input B. In inverting mode, B is the voltage to be compared with the reference voltage on A. In non-inverting mode, A is the voltage to be compared to the reference voltage on B. The comparator section is fully symmetrical for both modes, and operates over voltage supplies from ±4V to ±18V.

The LM211DE4 has a fast response time and an extremely low output voltage variation from signal to signal. In addition, it includes features such as an output open collector, an insulation system for over-pressure protection, a signal ground switch to minimise signal disturbance and a hysteresis circuit to keep signal noise down as much as possible.
