At this point, the synchronous rectifier (Q2) is turned on, allowing the current to continue flowing to the output. When the current limit is reached, Q1 is turned on again, allowing the inductor current to increase and the current through Q2 to decrease. This process is repeated at a constant frequency determined by the value of the external resistor RSET.
