The LM2750LD-ADJEV is an Evaluation Board designed for use with the LM2750 Synchronous Buck Regulator. The Board provides the user with a high efficiency, high frequency dc-to-dc switching regulator solution. It is an ideal tool for evaluating the LM2750 regulator in low power, high current applications such as notebook computers, LCD televisions, and handheld electronic products. The board is also suitable for powering high efficiency LED lighting systems.
The LM2750LD-ADJEV Evaluation Board is a turn-key solution for evaluating and designing with the LM2750 regulator. It is a complete AC-to-DC power converter with an on-board energy storage capacitor, PFC controller, input voltage sense circuit, external MOSFET, control loop setting resistors, and the LM2750 regulator IC. It also has an adjustable output voltage range which can be set with the on-board trim potentiometer.
The LM2750 Synchronous Buck Regulator is a current-mode, PWM switching regulator IC with adjustable frequency control and a wide input voltage range. It accepts a wide range of input voltage (6V-25V) and internal circuitry handles a wide range of load current (up to 25A). The LM2750\'s PWM control circuit provides excellent line and load regulation and enables excellent no-load efficiency. The IC also features soft-start capability to reduce the inrush current when the system is turned on.
The LM2750 is a monolithic, current-mode PWM controller with a wide operating voltage (6V-25V) and load current range (up to 25A). It uses a two-level modulation topology to achieve the highest switching frequency attainable while maintaining good efficiency. In order to achieve this high switching frequency, the LM2750 is designed to provide constant-frequency Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control. The PWM control circuitry provides excellent line and load regulation, while allowing for a high switching frequency and small size of the power converter circuit. The internal circuitry also provides excellent no-load efficiency.
In addition, the board is supplied with a powerful graphical user interface (GUI) which provides users with information on the board\'s features, such as the feedback circuit and current sense, as well as detailed graphical data representations of the power converter’s operation and control loop parameters. This helps designers to quickly and easily set up, debug, and evaluate the performance of their power converter and control loop.
The LM2750LD-ADJEV Evaluation Board is an ideal tool for evaluating the LM2750 synchronous buck regulator and for designing high efficiency, low power DC-to-DC switching regulator solutions. The board\'s on-board energy storage capacitor, PFC controller, input voltage sense circuit, external MOSFET, control loop setting resistors, and the LM2750 regulator IC allow designers to quickly and easily investigate the optimal performance of the power converter. The board\'s graphical user interface is also a powerful tool for quickly and easily setting up, debugging, and evaluating the performance of the power converter and its control loop.
