The LM2788MM-2.0/NOPB is a DC-DC switching regulator designed to convert a standard input voltage into a lower, regulated output voltage suitable for many applications. The voltage is generated by a P-channel power MOSFET based, voltage-fed forward converter circuit with a synchronous rectifier. This design features a wide input range (2.7 V to 5.5 V), low quiescent current, a low shutdown current (below 5 uA), and an adjustable output voltage (2.0 V to 5.5 V).
