Working Principle of the LM335ADT

This output voltage varies with the temperature of the diode, and therefore can be used to measure the temperature when connected to the LM335ADT. When combined with a sense resistor, it creates a transimpedance amplifier which produces an amplified voltage output proportional to the current flowing through the sense resistor. This increased voltage corresponds to the temperature of the device, and the output is provided as an analog voltage signal.
