The LM3370TL-3008EV is an integrated, highly adaptive, off-line, switch mode power supply (SMPS) evaluation board. It is an advanced design of a cost-effective, single-ended, flyback converter with an internal synchronous rectifier. The evaluation board utilizes an innovative power stage architecture to reduce the number of external components while providing high performance and low cost. It can be operated over a wide input range from 90 to 265VAC, with a maximum efficiency of 91% and peak power conversion of up to 300W.

The evaluation board has a built-in high side current-mode controller with valley-switching operation. This makes it easy to use in applications with transient load events and delivers high power density and efficiency throughout the entire load range. The evaluation board also includes a low profile external power inductor for added flexibility and improved cost savings. The DC/DC chip used in the power stage is the LM3370TL-3008EV.

This evaluation board is ideal for use in DC/DC applications such as power adapters, LED lighting, and laptop chargers.
