LM4546BVH/NOPB is a low power, dual channel digital audio codec which has been designed for today’s high end multimedia applications. It is mainly used for low power portable applications such as home entertainment systems, car audio systems, portable sound systems and other applications where digital audio data is needed. The codec is designed for low power consumption and high performance, and it is capable of delivering excellent audio fidelity. It is also capable of supporting digital audio formats such as MP3 and AAC.The LM4546BVH/NOPB is a high performance dual channel digital audio codec with a low power consumption profile. It consists of two separate audio channels which are connected to an integrated stereo amplifier. The integrated stereo amplifier provides a high power output which is used to drive the loudspeakers. The codec also features built-in digital signal processing features, such as a dual-channel sound mixer and a real-time signal processing algorithm. The integrated signal processor along with the integrated stereo amplifier allows the codec to process audio data in a much more efficient manner than conventional audio codecs.The main feature of the LM4546BVH/NOPB is its low power consumption. The codec is capable of operating in a wide range of power supply voltages from 3.3 volts to 12 volts. The low power consumption allows the codec to be used in battery operated portable devices. It also allows the codec to be integrated into devices with limited power supply budget.In terms of digital audio formats, the LM4546BVH/NOPB supports the industry standard linear PCM audio format up to 96kHz sample rate. It also supports the industry standard MP3 and AAC formats up to 48kHz sample rate. The codec also supports the Windows Audio Stream Architecture (WASA) with mono and stereo compatibility.The LM4546BVH/NOPB implements on-board signal processing algorithms which are used to improve the overall audio fidelity of the device. The signal processor also includes an adjustable headphone driver which allows the user to adjust the headphones output level. The codec also provides a recording input which can be used to record voice or music.The LM4546BVH/NOPB is mainly used in applications where digital audio signals are needed.
