The LM629N-8/NOPB is a high-speed motor and motion control applications microprocessor-based Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with an integrated power amplifier and integrated controller. This processor is designed to operate efficiently in temperatures from -40° to +125°. The microprocessor is designed with a 32-bit RISC architecture using a 16-bit instruction set and is capable of controlling up to 2 axes of motion and can be biased for low-frequency (10 Hz) operation to up to 1 MHz.

The integrated power amplifier is a self-biased, low-noise output device capable of driving up to 500mA output current with a maximum 5V rating.
