LM74CIBP-5 is a temperature sensor with an analog and digital output. It is used to measure temperature in systems that require accuracy over small temperature ranges. The ability to measure temperature over small ranges makes LM74CIBP-5 useful in applications ranging from embedded switches and circuit boards to industrial control systems.

LM74CIBP-5 senses changes in temperature by using a thermistor to measure resistance. A thermistor is a temperature-sensitive device whose resistance changes in response to changes in temperature.
