The LMK00306SQ NOPB is a versatile, low jitter clock buffer that is designed to bring higher levels of accuracy and density to high-performance clock systems. It has three stages of adaptive duty-cycle correction circuitry and can provide timing signals to large distributed clock systems, such as in wired networks, servers, and storage systems. The LMK00306SQ NOPB is also suitable for applications that require high-precision timing control, such as audio/video and telecom networks, as well as for use in test and measurement and medical applications.

At the core of the LMK00306SQ NOPB is a low jitter clock neuron generator (CNG) which processes the input clock and develops a new clock with lower jitter, higher jitter cycle-to-cycle stability, and improved frequency accuracy. This CNG supports eight output clock signals and four enable signals, and is capable of providing up to six frequency ratio split clock outputs. The operating frequency range is between 0.1 MHz and 14 MHz. It also include adaptive duty-cycle correction, which can help minimize output timing errors caused by frequency or duty-cycle variations in the input clock.

TheLMK00306SQ NOPB also features integrated reference buffer circuitry and an input lockout protection circuitry. The reference buffer prevents harmonic distortion in the input clock signal caused by the CNG, and provides improved noise isolation for clock applications. Additionally, it introduces a programmable delay on the reference buffer to ensure proper setup and hold times on the output clock.
