The LMK04828BISQ/NOPB is a digital clock fanout buffer & jitter attenuator integrated circuit (IC) used as a clock source and timing reference majorly in high speed data conversion systems. Designed and manufactured by Texas Instruments, this digital fanout buffer features eight independent outputs, very low additive jitter being a highly integrated device. This IC is designed to generate very low additive jitter in the range of 80-femtoseconds with proper input conditions and furthermore, the integrated jitter attenuator allows to lower the total jitter significantly. This integrated circuit can work with reference frequencies from 0kHz to 600MHz for the inputs that are set for single-ended format and from 0kHz to 900MHz for the inputs selected for differentiating type. The LMK04828BISQ/NOPB is capable of supporting input frequencies from 0kHz to 2100MHz and providing global buffering/fanning for numerous clocks or resynchronizing for multiple rate conversions.

The LMK04828BISQ/NOPB integrates the sophisticated and advanced high performance jitter attenuation technology along with the fully differential architecture and is specifically designed to generate 8 parallel outputs. This integrated circuit features highly accurate analog designs and more advanced digital phase lock loop (PLL). It also consists of high speed digital logic, a voltage-controlled oscillator and independent phase-frequency detectors. All these features result in a low additive jitter and high noise immunity with high flexibility and performance, satisfying a large number of applications.
