The LMK04011BISQE/NOPB is part of the LMK04000 Series, a family of 6, 12, and 16 output buffer with fast lock Synthesized Multisynth Frequency Synthesizer devices that leverage Ultra low jitter, high performance, digital PLL architectures. The LMK0401BISQE/NOPB is a multi-output clock generator designed for telecom, datacom and consumer applications. The device combines the benefits of a MultiSynth fractional-N PLL and multiple output buffers to generate multiple frequencies simultaneously. It includes two Ultra low jitter clocks and one output buffer that is divided into 12 individual clock outputs. The following output combinations are available:• All clocked at a single frequency • Clocked at two separate frequencies • Clocked at three separate frequencies • Clocked at four separate frequencies The device is packaged in a 4mm x 4mm 24-lead QFN package.Application FieldThe application field of the LMK04011BISQE/NOPB includes video surveillance, broadband equipment, consumer audio/visual, storage area networks, automotive, networking, test and measurement equipment and digital audio systems.Working PrincipleThe LMK04011BISQE/NOPB utilizes a proprietary digital frequency synthesizer and a traditional analog PLL loop to produce accurate and low jitter frequency outputs. The PLL loop is designed such that a fractional mode is provided which allows frequencies with resolutions down to 10mV to be synchronized. The digital frequency synthesizer is comprised of a digital frequency programmable block followed by a static frequency synthesizer block. The static frequency synthesizer contains twelve different frequency dividers that can generate frequencies as low as 1kHz.The multi-synth architecture of the LMK04011BISQE/NOPB enables the generation of a maximum of 16 separate frequencies from a single device. Each output is separately configurable and each output buffer is designed to meet the tight jitter and noise requirements of today\'s telecommunications and consumer applications. In addition, the device has high frequency coverage, fast lock times, programmable options such as spread-spectrum, and low power consumption with a shutdown/standby mode for systems needing lower power levels. The LMK04011BISQE/NOPB supports clock input frequencies ranging from 6MHz up to 800MHz.
