The LMV7219M5X/NOPB is a low-power, single-channel, dual-supply comparator designed to detect small signals in the presence of large common-mode transients, noise, and power supply disturbances. It has low quiescent current (50 µA max) and has a wide range of connection options. The device is a high speed comparator, with low quiescent current and good input sensitivity. The device operates from both positive and negative supply voltages, and can switch between them quickly and reliably. The LMV7219M5X/NOPB working principle is based on the ability of an n-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) field-effect transistor (MOSFET) to serve as an efficient voltage comparator, able to switch between two supplies. The device’s input pins sense a differential voltage, and this voltage is compared with a reference voltage generated by a constant-current source. If the differential voltage is higher than the reference voltage, the output will go high, and if the differential voltage is lower, the output will go low.
