LMV722 LD/NOPB is a high-precision, low-power operational amplifier from Texas Instruments. It\'s a single-supply precision amplifier with a high input impedance, low input bias current, wide operating range and low distortion with low noise. It\'s ideal for use in instrumentation, data conversion, sample and hold circuits, and some RF applications.This precision amplifier manages to offer high-performance and low-power consumption in a small 4-pin DIP (dual-in-line-package) package. The LMV722 operates from a single supply of 4.5V to 36V and delivers low input bias current of 6-nA, high input impedance of 1-MOhm, and low power consumption of 2-mW. The supply current of this amplifier is only 135ua and its output voltage is capable of being driven up to within 1V of either supply rail. It also comes with a common mode voltage range that extends 150mV beyond each supply rail, as well as its stable operation with long cables and high capacitive loads. The LMV722 offers excellent signal-to-noise performance with a 2.94-nV/√Hz voltage noise figure and 1.40-pA/√Hz input current noise. The amplifier has maximum distortion of 0.0005%, less than -50-dB of input voltage referred noise, and 6mA output current from a single 5V supply. Other features that make this amplifier unique include its low drift which is typically 0.3uV/°C and excellent common-mode rejection ratio at high frequencies.The LMV722 is a fully-differential amplifier consisting of high-precision, complementary matched NPN and PNP bipolar transistors. With its precise gain and offset temperature coefficients, direct feedback design and precise component matching, this amplifier ensures maintained operation over a wide range of input common-mode and output voltages. The LMV722 is used as an instrumentation amplifier in various applications such as signal conditioning and gain control. It is also used in data converters, transimpedance amplifiers, and sample and hold circuits. The amplifier also works well as preamplifiers in RF applications. In applications where power supply or input common-mode voltage is changing, the amplifier linearity is maintained with its high common-mode rejection ratio, which is typically greater than 120dB up to 200kHz.
