LMV722MX/NOPB is an instrumentation amplifier that’s used to measure low-level signals like physiological signals. It provides precision amplification and common-mode rejection which make it suitable for use in many medical and consumer instrumentation applications. The LMV722MX/NOPB is a unity gain amplifier, so it’s sometimes referred to as a buffer amplifier.The LMV722MX/NOPB is based on two differential amplifiers with an adjustable gain block between them. This allows the device to amplify low-level signals accurately and reject any noise that’s present on the input signal. The first differential amplifier is a high-performance gain stage with a gain of two, which is followed by a low-noise, high-impedance adjustable gain block.The gain actively adjusts from 1 to 10,000, allowing for very precise control over the amplification. This adjustable gain is controlled by the feedback network, which adjusts the impedance of the input to achieve the desired gain. The output stage is an optimized circuit design which eliminates distortion and provides improved linearity.The LMV722MX/NOPB is available in both single and dual versions.
