The LMV794MA/NOPB is a low voltage (2.7V to 5.5V) dual amplifier that integrates a low-noise, precision frequency-compensated amplifier, with wide gain-bandwidth, excellent CMRR and PSRR. It is able to deliver low-distortion audio signal amplification, making it ideal for instrumentation and consumer audio applications. This bipolar integrated circuit (IC) has a low power consumption, making it suitable for portable applications.

Despite its wide range of capabilities, the LMV794MA/NOPB is specially designed to be used in precision, low-noise instrumentation, audio and consumer applications. The wide gain-bandwidth is ideal for signal conditioning and amplifying; for instance, when simultaneously amplifying two signals. Working principle

The LMV794MA/NOPB is designed to be used in low voltage, low-noise, high-speed and low-power operations. The Sleep mode enables a complete shutdown of the dual op-amps when not in use, resulting in a much lower power consumption than other similar devices. The Standby and Run mode differences allow the amplifier to be used in low power audio applications, since the low voltage supply reduces interference due to noise in higher power circuits. The dual op-amps can be powered up or down simultaneously, and the LMV794MA/NOPB automatically enters the Power Saving mode whenever the output is inactive for more than a few milliseconds.
