The LNBH24DEMOBOARD is a compact, convenient, and easy-to-use evaluation board designed to provide a platform for understanding and testing the LNBH24DEMOBOARD off-line, DC/DC and AC/DC switch mode power supply (SMPS) capabilities. The on board amplifier and other components provide an environment where the user can experiment, evaluate, and verify the performance of this device under different load and line conditions. It is also a great tool for the evaluation of circuit power performance characteristics before committing to a design.
The device includes an adjustable buck DC-DC converter stage featuring precise physical control of voltage regulation, output ripple and response time. Drive ramps can also be adjusted externally to fine-tune the response times of the device. A boost PFC converter stage allows the user to measure the efficiency of the device, and a triple output is available to drive various load and power levels. Feedback loop compensation can be adjusted manually in order to ensure proper operation under different operating scenarios.
The LNBH24DEMOBOARD board is constructed on an aluminum base with well-insulated and robust components that allow for long-term stability and reliability. The board also features advanced protection circuitry which helps protect it from overvoltage, short circuits, as well as surges and transients.
