The device supports a wide range of input voltages from 11V to 44V, and is able to drive up to seven strings of LEDs (one primary and six secondary) at currents up to 500mA per string. Working Principle

The LNK410EG utilizes power factor control principle, converting AC input power into regulated control with higher efficiency. The voltage feedback sensed by the voltage divider is compared to a reference voltage by the internal error amplifier, thus the inductor current is adjusted accordingly based on the output.

The inductor current ripple detection circuit uses a voltage sense resistor to detect the current ripple. The detected current ripple is then fed into the feedback loop of the internal error amplifier, thus according to the detected current ripple, the regulator can adjust the DCIN voltage and LED output current to optimize the efficiency.

The device further provides Over Temperature Protection (OTP) circuit and UVLO circuit to provide protection for internal components and LED strings from over current, over voltage and temperature rises, making sure the lighting products can work stably and securely.
