The LNK6426D is a primarily designed for use in offline flyback AC-DC converters. It is a single-channel, hi-voltage current-mode controller with a wide range. The controller is ideal for AC-DC conversion in SMPS applications. This controller also includes a Supplemental Supply (SSUPPLY) providing up to 5V@100mA for system power.

Working Principle:

The LNK6426D is a primarily designed for use in offline flyback AC-DC converters. It generates a square wave with a high voltage, which is then filtered by an LC filter and rectified to direct current. The current mode control loop regulates the current in the output section, while the error amplifier adjusts the gain and frequency of the oscillator. The Integrated isolated high voltage power MOSFET driver with 600V of peak output voltage helps improve performance and power efficiency.

The LNK6426D come with a wide operating voltage range of 3.6V to 40V and features multiple protection features including opto- coupler and input limits.
