LNK6669K

LNK6669K is an integrated power management device engineered to provide a complete, cost-effective and compact AC/DC-DC solution. It is designed to reduce the design complexity of a normal AC/DC converter, substituting as many as 35 discrete components in typical solutions and featuring embedded controller and high voltage, current mode synchronous PWM controllers.

This device is especially designed to drive off-line AC/DC switching supplies from universals inputs of 85-265 Vac. It requires no opto-couplers and most of the external components can be directly mounted on the printed circuit board, making complete solution design for power supplies much easier and faster.

The device features a single primary-side control architecture, providing inherent stability and making the design an easy one. With only a few external components such as an external signal transformer, capacitor, an opto-coupler, a resistor and one switch, the device can easily provide up to 75% efficiency and up to 1.5A output current.

The device is embedded with integrated high-voltage and over-current protection functions, making it suitable to drive off-line AC/DC switching converters up to 6W or 12W loads with no extra components or protection needed. It can also be used in AC-DC supplies requiring isolation and DC-DC supplies for space constraints.
