LP3981ILDX-2.8/NOPB is one of the most advanced power management integrated circuits (PMICs) and is a high-efficiency, low-power, and low-voltage linear regulator. It bridges the gap between power-saving voltage regulators and low-voltage linear regulator. Because it can deliver a high-efficiency output voltage with a significantly lower quiescent current, this voltage regulator is ideal for applications that require a fast transient response and tight load and line regulation.

The LP3981ILDX-2.8/NOPB is a set of low-dropout (LDO) regulators that feature a maximum of 1.5-A output current when the dropout voltage is greater than 400 mV. Each of the three regulators operates in linear-mode, meaning it is based on a series voltage regulator and maintains a constant output voltage regardless of input voltage. This regulator includes an over-current and thermal-shutdown protection feature, making it suitable for use with a wide range of applications. Additionally, the LP3981ILDX-2.8/NOPB is a continuous-mode device, making it capable of supplying output currents over 1.5 A.
