LP3971SQ-D510/NOPB, referred to as LP3971, is a high-performance power management integrated chip (pmic) developed and produced by Texas Instruments. The working principle of LP3971 is as follows: the main power supply is bipassed via a bypass capacitor to avoid overshoot/undershoot and reduce excessive noise. Then, the power supply is divided into positive/negative/combined three power supplies, each of which is converted by an integrated regulator. Audios, voltages and supply voltage are adjusted and regulated according to the system’s needs. Finally, the chip is connected to an output terminal to provide power to the system.
