LP3996SDX-3033/NOPB is a Linear voltage regulator designed for high-current and high-voltage applications. It is a three-terminal positive-voltage regulator, which can provide up to 1.6A output current in a wide, adjustable output voltage range of up to 24V. The regulator is available in three different packages: SOT223, MSOP-8 and SOIC-8. It is optimized for space-constrained, high-performance power management in portable and battery-powered systems, such as mobile phones, laptops, PDAs and similar digital and analogue circuits.

Working Principle:

LP3996SDX-3033/NOPB Linear voltage regulator is a three-terminal positive-voltage regulator that works on the principle of feedback control. It has a low input voltage of 4.5V and a maximum output voltage of 24V. The regulator is composed of two integrated stages: an input stage and an output stage. The input stage features a three-terminal regulator that is connected to the output stage by means of an output voltage-setting divider.
