LP8550TLX/NOPB is an inductorless constant current, DC/DC buck converter led driver specifically designed for driving high brightness LEDs (HBLEDs) in general lighting applications. The device provides up to 300mA (7 LEDs at 20mA each) of constant current to a single string of HBLEDs, or two strings of HBLEDs from a single device.

The driver\'s integrated inductorless architecture eliminates space and cost associated with an external inductor, and reduces external component count. The wide input voltage range of the device allows it to be powered from any source from 8V to 48V. On top of that, the driver features a sink/source logic input, a thermal protection shutdown, a soft-start function, and a temperature tracking LED current matching system to provide stable, efficient LED current over changes in ambient temperature.
