An ever-increasing range of devices and applications are supported by embedded systems composed of microcontroller components. The LPC811M001JDH16FP is a versatile microcontroller that is well-suited for many embedded applications.This microcontroller has two main pieces of hardware: a 16-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ processor and an ARM TrustZone CryptoCell-310 security processor. The Cortex-M0+ processor can run at up to 60 MHz and provides excellent performance relative to its power consumption and cost. The onboard CryptoCell-310 provides security, cryptographic functions, and secure isolation. With these components, the microcontroller is particularly well-suited for secure connected devices and applications.The LPC811M001JDH16FP also provides a range of peripherals and interfaces, including up to 16 General-Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) pins, three pulse-width modulation (PWM) controllers, one serial universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART), one master/slave inter-integrated circuit (I2C) bus, one standard SPI bus, one hardware-based secure system accelerator, and one direct memory access (DMA) controller. All these features can be used to facilitate a wide range of embedded applications and devices.Other features of the LPC811M001JDH16FP include a 4KB ROM, up to 32 KB of SRAM, an 8 KB of ROM-based on-chip ROM, a power-on-reset (POR) circuit, a brown-out detector, and a real-time clock (RTC). The microcontroller also has several integrated temperature, voltage and other sensors, as well as a fast programmable logic array (PLAs) that can be used to perform complex logic. The working principle of the LPC811M001JDH16FP is based on a system-on-chip (SoC) architecture.
