It is ideal for lighting applications that require a low-cost, low-power buck-boost LED driver IC with TrueTransistor regulation.The LT3466EFE#TRPBF LED driver IC can drive low-power LED strings from as low as 0.25V to a maximum of 36V. It provides 3 LED string driver channels and up to 350mA of continuous current on each channel. The device can be operated from an external supply voltage that is up to 42V and internal current limiting for over-current protection. It has an adjustable current foldback limiter that enables the device to shut down in case of an over-current condition.The LT3466EFE#TRPBF LED driver IC is also designed with a host of features to protect the device against short circuits and overload conditions. It has a built-in thermally shutdown feature which provides thermal compensation to prevent the device from overheating.
