DC-DC switching regulators are used to convert a fixed input voltage to a regulated output voltage that is both adjustable and relatively independent of input voltage and load current. The LT3467EDDB#TRMPBF is a Step-Down DC-DC Switching Regulator specifically designed for low-power applications. It has low quiescent current and is available in 3.2 V to 13.2 V input range, making it suitable for a variety of industrial, automotive and consumer applications.

This IC features a fixed frequency, current-mode control, as well as an adjustable frequency Clock Sync/FORCEA/RTUNE circuitry. The multi-mode input low drop-out (LDO) provides guaranteed regulation during light output load conditions, or when the input voltage is close to the output voltage in order to regulate the output voltage during start-up. The LT3467EDDB#TRMPBF also includes a low-power sleep mode, where quiescent current is reduced to 20 µA. The output voltage can be adjusted between 0.6 V to 6.5 V.

Working Principle
