The LT3472EDD#TRPBF is a versatile, high voltage switching regulator that can be used in a variety of applications, including powering isolated dc-dc converters, motor drivers, on/off control and LED lighting. It features a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 85 V, operating frequency up to 5 MHz and high peak current drive capability of 3 A.

The device is designed with a fixed frequency voltage mode control architecture. This enables quick and easy setup and eliminates the need for external compensation components. The device has a user selectable output voltage range that can be set to between 2.5 V and 75 V without the need for external components, making it very easy to design with.The LT3472EDD#TRPBF can be used in a synchronous buck, non-synchronous buck, boost or inverting topology. The user can select which topology to use by setting the CT and SD pins accordingly.

The LT3472EDD#TRPBF is able to provide a high level of integration and performance. It has onboard drivers, inductor current sensing and temperature monitoring, making it easy to use in applications requiring tight control of temperature, current and voltage parameters.The device is available in a handful of packages and is rated for industrial temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃.

Working Principle:

The LT3472EDD#TRPBF uses a fixed frequency voltage mode control topology. This is a common way to regulate voltage output because it reduces design time and eliminates the need for external compensation components. The device has four internal switches that can be used to construct either a synchronous buck, non-synchronous buck, boost or inverting topology.

The device features a user selectable output voltage range that can be set to between 2.5 V and 75 V without the need for external components.
