The LT3492IFE is a high-precision, very-low-dropout (VLDO) ideal diode-OR/ideal FLOR linear regulator, comprising an n-channel power MOSFET and a controlling integrated circuit (IC). This system operates in a closed-loop configuration, providing stable output voltage and very low output power losses. The LT3492IFE is suited for a variety of electronic applications requiring accurate output regulation, including PMIC (power management integrated circuit) and LED driver applications.
The LT3492IFE features wide 2% output voltage accuracy over all operating temperatures, low dropout voltage of 70mV, low quiescent current of 10 μA, fast response time of 500ns and wide input voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. Its advanced topology is ideal for steady and constant current supply, as well as energy harvesting applications. The internal current limit and thermal protection allow it to operate safely in environments with a wide temperature range, making it a suitable fit for both automated and manual systems.
