LT3689EMSE#PBF are high efficiency, low noise synchronous step-down switching regulators designed to deliver up to 60V input to 1.5A output. This family of switching regulators is specifically designed for space-constrained applications and uses all N-FET devices for very low RDS(on) power loss. The part can additionally be used as a low-side switch, making it suitable for automotive, industrial, and other applications where space is limited.

The regulators incorporate a unique synchronous control technique that enables very low no load Iq (quiescent) current operation. This prevents random glitches that appear in many other regulators due to sudden load changes and unwanted clock jitter. This results in very low operating noise, so the regulators are best suited for noise-sensitive applications.

The LT3689EMSE#PBF also features a low-RDS(on) integrated power switch, which eliminates the need for an external low-side power switch.
